Las Vegas Draft Parties Heat Up for NFL Draft 2017

The NFL Draft 2017 is heating up, and football fans nationwide are making their picks and staking their claim on their favorite players.  Watching the draft with friends is always fun, but celebrating the draft in Vegas ups the ante and makes things a whole lot more fun.

Many of your favorite players host their own draft parties in Vegas as they wait to get selected, so, if you’re looking for the ultimate draft party, take a page from quarterback Matt Leinart’s book.  In 2006, he set the standard for Vegas draft parties with his epic celebration at Pure Nightclub at Caesar’s Palace.  While Pure Nightclub may be yesterday’s news, that doesn’t mean that you can’t capture the same spirit that Leinart and pals Nick Lachey and Paris Hilton enjoyed at the draft party bash.  As Paris Hilton would say, “That’s hot.”

Here are our top five reasons an NFL Draft Party in Vegas so much better than hosting your draft party on your couch at home (besides the fact that two guys and a bag of Doritos does not an epic draft party make):

  1. Girls, girls, girls.  When was the last time bikini-clad waitresses were a part of your draft party?  Poolside draft parties offer plenty of eye candy.

  2. The Hangover Suite at Caesar’s Palace. Caesar may not have lived at Caesar’s Palace, as Alan from The Hangover thought, but it’s still one of the country’s top places to party.  The Hangover Suite at Caesar’s Palace lets you and your boys live it up like the guys from The Hangover. Tiger not included.

  3. Budweiser’s Beer Park.  The name says it all, doesn’t it?  With over 100 beers to choose from—36 of which are on tap—that case of beer you break into for your home draft party starts to, well, “pale” in comparison.  From pale ales, to American IPAs, to every lager you can imagine, there is a beer for every palate.

  4. Drai’s Beach Club.  11 stories above the Las Vegas Strip, Drai’s Beach Club’s views are unparalleled, except, perhaps, by the beautiful people who flock there to work on their tan.  Stay for the night, and the fun in the sun will give way to some of Las Vegas’s top musical performances, including: 50 Cent, Nelly, T.I, and Big Sean.

  5. The Las Vegas Raiders.  Having a draft party in Las Vegas is about to get local, thanks to the Oakland Raiders’ move to Sin City.  This year, the Raiders—soon to be known as the Las Vegas Raiders—will be announcing their Day 3 draft picks from the “Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas” sign.
